Just to clear the confusion up, we managed to speak to Charlie from Thailand RCCA president and confirm the track will open from 1/10/2010 till 22/10/2010 and then remain closed till the 8/11/2010.

So for those interested to go for practice better get planning right away.

RCCA have updated their website with latest photos of the old nitro party track with the new IFMAR track Layout and pictures a little different then the ones posted on neobuggy.

In order not to have any delays in the process of making the Team T-Shirts, for those representing the team or wish to obtain T-Shirts for the Team Kuwait going to the WC Thailand 2010 please communicate your T-Shirt Sizes with Ali Bullail.

For those that are traveling to Thailand for the upcoming WC there will be a meeting on Thursday 19th of August 2010 at 9pm at the school to discuss about the organization of the trip and hotel bookings as such if you traveling for the WC we advise that you attend this meeting.

Sunday 7 Nov : Registration and Admission Inspection.
Monday 8 Nov: Final Registration and Admission Inspection
2 rounds of (controlled) practice, one in the morning, one in the afternoon.

Tuesday 9 Nov : 2 Rounds of Timed practice (see Rule 3.3)
Admission Inspection
Opening Ceremony at conclusion of Timed Practice
Wednesday 10 Nov : 1st and 2nd Rounds of Qualifying Heats
Thursday 11 Nov : 3rd and 4th Rounds of Qualifying Heats
Friday 12 Nov : 5th and 6th Rounds of Qualifying Heats

Due to some time managment issue we have post delayed the closing of the Track design deadline to 8/8/2010 at 9pm at the KSC to the previous date being 31/7/2010.

This will give some more time for those wishing to do some last minute changes.

We have completed the track at 98% of the work, at the request of many we will be accommodating a for 2 classes to allow new people to join the hobby, one class will be considered as the pro class which will abide to the previous rule book posted on the website another class will accommodate for the open class.

In the open class there will be some basic rules which will be updated in the open class rule book.

Open class will allow for the following:

1/10 Belt or Shaft drive 2wd or 4wd

Tires onroad foam or slick rubbers

Bodies 1/10 cars any type by must be car not trucks or other types

Batteries either 7.2V Ni-Mh / Ni-Cd and or Lipo 7.4V Hard Case (Soft Case is not allowed)

Update: The Closing date for the track design of the offroad track for the season of 2010/2011 to be submitted to the KSC secretary in the RCCCK dept will be 31/7/2010 no later then 9pm in a sealed envelope.

The selected track design result will be posted on the 7/8/2010 on the RCCCK website after which the selected track design designer will have the whole month of August to work on the design in 3d layout.

First designs must be submitted in 2d Format, rough sketch with complete layout inclusive of jumps / obstacles etc, does not have to be computer based.
